New Sessions Starting This Week. 

For the Winter Term we are offering 3 courses at Withrow Park Clubhouse:
 

Playground Self-Defence

Part Three

Wednesdays From January 9th-March 6th
5pm-6pm

Ages: 5yrs-6yrs. All 5 year old students, New 6 year old students only.

This beginner karate class is directed toward students who are just starting out, or for those who are 5 and 6 years old. Have fun using our karate techniques with drills and goal-oriented games, while helping to provide an athletic outlet and develop skill in technique. 

Playground Self-Defence

Part Three

Wednesdays From January 9th-March 6th

6:15pm-7:15pm

Ages: 6yrs-8yrs. All returning students aged 6yrs-8yrs that have completed 2 or 3 terms with us at Withrow Park Clubhouse or Matty Eckler Recreation Centre.

This beginner karate class is directed toward students who are just starting out, and who are between the ages of 6 and 9 years old. Have fun using our karate techniques with drills and goal-oriented games, while helping to provide an athletic outlet and develop skill in technique. 

Playground Self-Defence Karate

Part Three Intermediate

Wednesdays from March 30th
7:15pm-8:15pm

Ages: 9yrs-13yrs. All students who are over 8yrs of age, as well as any returning 8 year old students who have completed 2 or 3 terms with us at Withrow Park Clubhouse or Matty Eckler Recreation Centre.

The next step for those students who have already completed the beginner playground karate, or who are 9 to 13 years old. This class moves a bit quicker in terms of teaching and comprehension for the older or more experienced students. Continuing games and drills for skill development and movement through athletic endeavours we strive to give our students a coping strategy for frustration or aggression in a safe environment.

4pm-4:45pm

Ages: 4yrs-5yrs. All 4 year old students, New 5 year old students only.

This beginner karate class is directed toward students who are just starting out, and who are between the ages of 5 and 6 years old. Have fun using our karate techniques with drills and goal-oriented games, while helping to provide an athletic outlet and develop skill in technique.
