For the Fall Term we are offering 3 courses:

Playground Self-Defence Karate - Part One

Wednesdays From September 29th
5-6pm

This beginner karate class is directed toward students who are just starting out, or for those who are between 5 and 8 years old. Have fun using our karate techniques with drills and goal-oriented games, while helping to provide an athletic outlet and develop skill in technique. Brief talks about staying safe and bullying are also on-going throughout the 9 week program.

Playground Self-Defence Karate - Part One Intermediate

Wednesdays from September 29th
6:15-7:15pm

The next step for those students who have already completed the beginner playground karate, or who are 9 to 13 years old. This class moves a bit quicker in terms of teaching and comprehension for the older or more experienced students. Continuing games and drills for skill development and movement through athletic endeavors we strive to give our students a coping strategy for frustration or aggression in a safe environment.

Adults & Teens - Street Karate

Wednesdays from September 29th

7:30-8:30pm

Course Code:1724222

This class is for all skill levels. Young adults, Teenagers, and Adults work along side each other developing their skills through drills and partner exercises. During this class we will be working to control our opponents through close-range techniques. Some of the areas we will work with include grabbing & grip breaking, and balance & posture control through holding positions. We experience the possibility of pressure without the fear of being injured. We fight -without hurting anyone.
